An ounce of practice is worth more than a ton of preaching. | Gandhi |
Your session provides an understanding of print, radio and TV, and On-line media, and help you develop skills needed to present before each.
The aim of every interview is to deliver your pre-planned positive messages in an effective way. Our media training will help you see each question as an Opportunity, not an Obligation.
You will learn interview control technique ensuring your key messages are delivered clearly and concisely.
Your media training will practice dealing with a microphone or TV camera suddenly thrust before you, how to handle a radio studio and talkback, how to prepare and deliver during a phone or on-line interview.
Professional camera crews, a portable radio studio and broadcast playback facilities create a realistic media environment for your training. Training is recorded for replay and discussion and individual USBs and manuals are provided to participants. |
Media training sessions are tailored to your needs. Ideally training is for a half day for individuals and pairs, or full day for a group of 3-6 participants. However, we also conduct effective training for larger groups in sessions varying from two hours to two days.

In Chinese, the word “crisis” is composed of two characters, danger and opportunity. |
Crisis ManagementOnce you are in a crisis situation, it is too late for preparation. You need to get in front of a crisis, and we will help you do that with realistic planning, preparation and rehearsal. We will also be available to advise and support during an actual event. Media Impact provides services to help you prepare your crisis communication plan, rehearse your spokespeople, and to test your preparedness to handle any realistic crisis scenario. It is crucial that everyone understands their role, and how to handle media and public inquiries, ahead of any crisis. We will assist you in identifying your areas of risk and vulnerability. In developing key responses to cover those areas, and in crisis communication training your team to deliver those responses. Our crisis communication training sessions are tailored and can be one-on-one with your main spokesperson, through to real-time rehearsals involving your whole team and our supply of reporters and equipment covering all three media. Successful crisis management must include a strong focus on media relations to recover any damage to public image and assure stakeholders that recovery is underway. |
